I especially like your last paragraph – and I did start a blog – two in fact – just a few months ago! I always write letters to my children at Christmas – sometimes more often, but at least once a year. They know their letters will be in their stockings! Probably wouldn’t do anything you said not to – just a little bit inhibited! But that’s just me. Congratulations on being freshly pressed!

I love my mothers group because its been 4 1/2 years since we first met with our very first bubs and i couldn’t imagine my life without them.
We now have two or even 3 children and still manage to get together each week at our fantastic playgroup and also for coffees and chats. They are such a wonderful bunch of women who i can share with, learn from and it is great that our children are growing up and spending so much time together. We would all be lacking without having met my mothers group

I love my mothers group as it gets me out of the house and I get to chat to mothers that are experiencing same things as me. Love that all the kids get to interact with each other and hopefully build friendships that will last for a long time.

Our mothers group has been together 4 years this September coming. We all met at our local Family Health nurse Early bird parenting session when our babies were all just a few weeks old. We have met every Tuesday since then aside from over the Christmas period when many go away to see their families. What makes our group special is that we share a common bond, our children. Many of us now have 2 children, those 2nd children all born within a 6 week period of each other (same as our firsts) We are not only Mum’s that go to Mum’s group but great friends, we attend birthday parties, family picnics and other fantastic times together. We know we can count on each other when times are hard, when children are unwell and when we just need a shoulder to lean on.. I love my fellow Mum’s group Mum’s just like I love my own sisters!
